Top 5 Oscar Hair Styles 2013

Jessica Chastain stood out among the nominations for oscar for best actress. She wore her long hair down. Simple and elegant. She seemed very gracious and happy to be in attendance. Jessica wore custom Armani Prive dress, Christian Louboutin heels, and Harry Winston jewels. She was nominated for the Best Actress award for her work in Zero Dark Thirty.

The 35 year old redhead had previously turned heads at the 2012 Oscars in a Alexander McQueen gown. Chastain came up short in the running for Best Actress, but became well know after her well-known performance in Zero Dark Thirty.  She delivered a captivating performance as the CIA agent Maya, and was made more difficult considering the character had almost no backstory.

Anne Hathaway stole her thunder on stage though, as she took home the oscar for best actress in a lead role. She looked elegant on the red carpet. Her hair was cut for the role in which she won, but it is growing out to a nice short boy cut. She seemed genuinely surprised when she won the oscar for best supporting actress for her role in Les Miserables. She thanked her husband and shed some tears of joy.

Halle Berry, well what can you say. She always looks beautiful, but isn't afraid to take chances with her hair. This night was no different. She rocked a modern take on a boy cut, with sexy spiked hair. Berry won her oscar for best actress in "Monster's Ball" while she was filming the James Bond movie "Die Another Day" in 2002. She led the tribute last night to the 50th anniversary of the James Bond movie franchise.  ABC had marketed that as one of the major highlights of the ceremony Sunday night.

If you'd like to have the same style without cutting your own hair, see the Peaches wig by Jon Renau. It is available through this link on amazon:

Jennifer Garner wore her long beautiful hair up in the back. She spent the evening on the arm of husband Ben Afflack, whose movie Argo won for best picture. She was brought to tears during his acceptance speech in which he 'thanked her for working on their marriage'. He claims without her sacrifice that it would not be possible for him to make films, and be a good husband and father. He also directed the oscar winning movie, but was snubbed for a nomination.

Who wouldn't want to look like Jennifer Garner? Amazon has a Jon Renau wig you can wear to achieve this same look. Just a long enough style to put in back as a bun.

Charlize Theron was the clear overall winner of the night. Her super short boy but was timeless and reminded many of how beautiful she can be. Her strapless gown highlighted her look and gave her a simple classic hollywood sparkle. She also participated in one of the signature moments of the night by ballroom dancing on the way out to present with 'Magic Mike' actor, Channing Tatum.
